“Company Description and Mission Statement”

Throughout this course, you will develop a series of written papers and projects that you will later combine into a complete business plan for a Non-Alcoholic Beverage (NAB) company.

For this discussion, you must first review the NAB COMPANY PORTFOLIO. This document you downloaded from PlanningShop using the Access code you purchased from the Strayer Bookstore.

The portfolio contains the company parameters and details you must follow when developing your company (Note #1, page 4).

All the discussions and assignments in this class will be focused on the Non-Alcoholic Beverage company you create.

For this week’s discussion, please respond to the following:

1. Create your Non-Alcoholic Beverage company name and explain the significance of the name.
2. Describe the beverage you will produce (key ingredients and any flavors you will offer).
3. Develop your company’s Mission Statement.

“Opportunities”

For this week’s discussion, we will expand on the non-alcoholic beverage business you began developing in the Week 1 discussion. As part of your business plan, you will be required to conduct a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) in Assignment 2.

1. Discuss three OPPORTUNITIES you can identify for your NAB business. Briefly describe each and clarify how your business can grow by pursuing each opportunity.

 

“Target Market”

For this week’s discussion, please respond to the following: 

1. Describe the target market for your NAB business including a description of your target market’s key demographic elements. You should also mention the geographic, lifestyle, psychographic, purchasing pattern, and buying sensitivities of your proposed target market.

 

“Marketing Vehicles”

Marketing is more than advertising. It refers to delivering value and benefits by creating products and services that will meet the needs and wants of customers. Another important component of marketing involves delivering the products at a price the consumer is willing to pay and making the products available in places where they are willing and able to buy them. A marketing vehicle is a specific tool that is used to deliver an advertisement to an intended audience.

1. Identify the marketing vehicles you will use at your NAB Company. Describe each method of advertisement and explain why it is a good tool to reach your target market.
