In social work and academic fields, integrity is often cited as a fundamental principle. Walden University expects students to uphold the highest standard of integrity in all of their course work. Although many of us agree that integrity is important, it can be helpful to get a clear sense of exactly what it entails.
For this Assignment, visit the Walden Writing Center. View the Avoiding passive plagiarism [Module]. Complete the postmodule quiz within the tutorial and follow the instructions to receive the certificate of completion.
Technical Note: The Writing Center modules have capacity limits, which means that if everyone tries to access a module at once, not everyone will be able to access it. We encourage you to complete the module earlier in the week and avoid waiting until the last minute, as this will result in not everyone being able to access and complete the module. If you are able, also try completing the module earlier in the day to help overloading the Writing Center module. Finally, if you try to access the module and get the message, “your concurrent training user quota has been reached,” return to the module in 1–2 hours or the next day. Next, from the Attach File area, click on the Browse My Computer button. Find the document you saved as “WK2Assgn1+last name+first initial.(extension)” and click Open.
If applicable: From the Plagiarism Tools area, click the checkbox for I agree to submit my paper(s) to the Global Reference Database.
