Respond to at least one of your colleagues’ post and determine whether you are able to understand the “whole picture” of the data or understand the data in its entirety. What might you add to their display and why? What might you change to their display and why?Data PresentationFor data presentation, I have chosen the variable “labor force status’. Being a categorical data, the labor force status of respondents was presented using bar graph and pie chart. Based on Figure 1, the bar of “working full time” group is the highest implying there are more people working full time than any other status. Next to working full time group is the ‘retired” group while the least is the “temp not working” group.Figure 1. Bar graph showing the frequency of each category of labor force status.Figure 2 presented the labor force status using pie chart. Based on the pie chart, less than 50% of the respondents are working full time. This is a significant observation which is not captured in bar chart (Figure 1).
