What are some examples of concrete nouns?

Concrete can be identified by the five senses, so there are many examples available.
Concrete nouns can be seen, felt, heard, smelt, tasted, and/or touched.

Here’s an example of a concrete noun:The water ran through the river.
Water is a concrete noun because you can see, feel, taste, and touch it.

Another example is:The sun was beating down on the children outside.
The sun is a concrete noun because you can see it, feel it, etc.

This, however, is NOT a concrete noun;
Einstein was well-known for his brilliance .
While brilliance is a noun, you cannot identify the noun by the five senses. Therefore, brilliance is an abstract noun, which is the opposite of a concrete noun.
