Part 2: Requirements (40 marks)
This question can be answered after you have completed your study of Block 2 Parts 1 and 2, and any related activities within those parts. It is designed to allow you to engage in a team-working activity that permits you to practise some aspects of requirements elicitation and to show your understanding of requirements.
More specifically, this question requires a mixture of individual and group work with members of your small team, in order to allow for discussions and better understanding of the requirements that arise from a scenario. It will let you brainstorm this scenario description, in order to assist with the elicitation of more precise requirements and to describe use cases about some software to be developed.
The question will ask you to carry out the following team activity, and will later provide full details for doing so:
• individually consider a scenario and three use cases
• individually compose six questions that you would like to ask to clarify the requirements of the use cases
• upload your six questions to the appropriate slot in TM254 OpenStudio
• hold a meeting with the team to which you have been assigned, to discuss all the questions that team members have uploaded
• agree as a team on two questions for each use case which it is necessary to ask
• decide as a team on the answers to the six agreed questions
• create a team document with the six questions and their answers.

It is your task to brainstorm with your small team to clarify the scenario, resolve any relevant ambiguity and complete any necessary information.
Scenario

For salespeople, the store at which they work is recorded, together with a commission rate. For headquarters staff, their department is recorded. Staff provides central services such as payroll, purchasing and stock distribution management. The company’s only warehouse is collocated with the headquarters. This warehouse holds additional stock to that held at each store.
